OTTAWA, ON – GooSee Inc. today announced Last Call 2027, a password-gated, 1920s-style speakeasy taking over Cohere Centre’s Hall 3 on December 31, 2026, for a New Year’s Eve experience built around live jazz, cabaret and aerial performances, and a hidden second room most guests will never find.

Produced under PeakEXP, GooSee’s event-production brand, Last Call 2027 reimagines the traditional New Year’s Eve gala as a night of discovery: guests receive a password by email before the event, pass through a dim entry tunnel, and find themselves in a room built to evoke a Prohibition-era supper club. Behind a second, less obvious door lies the VIP Nook, a speakeasy-within-the-speakeasy styled as “2060 Off-Grid,” reserved for the event’s highest ticket tier.

“Most New Year’s Eve events are a ballroom with balloons and a countdown. We wanted to build something people would talk about walking in the door, before the champagne is even poured,” said Ben Scholte, founder of GooSee Inc. and producer of Last Call 2027. “The password, the tunnel, the second door, every layer is designed to make the night feel like a discovery instead of a ticket.”

What’s Included

The evening features a live jazz band playing uptempo sets, cabaret and aerial silk performances woven throughout the night, era-themed cocktail stations, a vintage ice cream bar, a popcorn cart, a hands-on mixology class, and a midnight champagne toast with a build-up countdown. Guests who prefer not to drink can opt for the Designated Driver Pass, which includes full entry, the dance floor, live music, and a sparkling-cider toast at the zero-proof Tonic Bar.

Tickets

Three wristband tiers are available, each named for a different level of access:

• Designated Driver Pass: $45 (Red Wristband): Full entry, dance floor, live music, and a non-alcoholic midnight toast
• Speakeasy Pass: $59 early bird / $69 at the door (Black Wristband): The full Last Call experience, including one drink token
• Vault Pass: $109 early bird / $124 at the door (Emerald Wristband): Everything in the Speakeasy Pass, plus access to the hidden VIP Nook, two drink tokens, and the “2060 Off-Grid” experience

Guests who purchase five Speakeasy or Vault passes receive one Designated Driver Pass free. Private tables for groups of 6 to 10, bundled with full admission and VIP Nook access, are also available under the names The Bootlegger, The Racketeer, and The Syndicate.
